Delivering the three key components
The erection of fabricated buildings requires three key components: the right technology, an experienced and adept erection team and a safety protocol that meets with our own and our client’s requirements.
We can deliver these components to not only meet but exceed your expectations. We consistently deliver superb results as our loyal customer client base can verify.
Our Process
There are four main elements to any steel erection process and we make sure they have all been carried out efficiently and in accordance with health and safety standards.
• We will always make sure the foundations are safe and suitable before we begin any steel erection contract.
• Our skilled crew will undertake the lifting and placing of components once the piece count is complete, and secure the bolted connection efficiently and with precision.
• We will align the structure and make certain that it’s correct and the column bases are lined, level and the columns themselves plumb.
• Finally, we will secure the bolted connections and complete any outstanding checks and finishing required.
Our Team
Our fully trained and experienced erection teams can adapt to accommodate the challenges of each and every individual site or circumstance. Our squads comprise of a team leader along with steel/cladding erectors. All of our site personnel are CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) certified and/or FASET (Fall Arrest Safety Equipment Trained) trained.
All our Squad leaders hold SSSTS (Site Safety Supervisor Training Scheme) and have worked with the company for many years, providing extensive experience of delivering a quality and efficient service. This includes having the skills and foresight to overcome the variety of unique challenges that can arise on any construction site.
On larger contracts, we forward plan the erection sequence to enable the fabricated steel arrive on site in load order to accommodate the erection programme, or to suit client/main contractor’s requirements.
Safety Protocol
Our standard safety protocol is to issue site specific Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Lifting Plans. These are issued to the client/main contractor for their approval. A copy is then read, discussed and signed by the erection squad prior to commencement on site.
